This commitment to excellence began with the establishment of our firm in 1959 by Austin M. Sheheen, Jr., CPA, who continues as an active partner in the practice. We have grown from a solo practice into one that is among the ten largest in the Midlands area of South Carolina, as published by The State newspaper in July of 2005. Though our size allows us to offer the advantages of up-to-date technology and training, we strive to provide personal service. We represent a diverse clientele that ranges from individuals to corporations, from private enterprise to public and nonprofit entities.

Our certified staff are all members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. We are active in the civic arena, serve on local and statewide professional association committees, participate in and advise cultural and charitable organizations and committees, and lecture to civic and student groups as requested on timely topics in our field.
